ARNAUD MARCILHACY 

Managing Consultant, France, Belgium, Switzerland

An experienced professional in Communications, Marketing and Fundraising, Arnaud Marcilhacy has a vast experience in working with NGOs and higher education institutions, in Europe and North America. Wiser for his 10 years experience in North America, he has a solid expertise in project management and negotiation of partnerships.

Mr. Marcilhacy supervises development activities and operations for the firm in Belgium, France and Switzerland. Mr. Marcilhacy presently runs the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (#1 French University in international rankings) fundraising project, the Ecole Centrale Paris fundraising campaign and feasibility studies for Ecole des Mines de Nantes, Institut de Radio Astronomie Millimétrique and the Red Cross Museum (Geneva).

 

Before joining Brakeley he was General Manager of the Ketchum Fund Raising Europe office in Paris. He gave counsel and fundraising support to clients such as Supélec (France), Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), World Vision (Canada and France) and the Boy Scouts of France. Prior to joining Ketchum Fund Raising, Mr. Marcilhacy was Director, Strategic Planning at The Domain Group, an American advertising agency specializing in non-for-profit institutions with offices in Paris, London and Seattle. In this position, he helped settle the French office, successfully developing new clientele and putting together strategic partnerships to ensure the growth of the agency. Before that, he was Director, Marketing One on One at RTA-Leo Burnett (Montreal and Toronto), a major international Advertising Agency. He acquired and managed several prestigious accounts like Air France, BMW and Weider Nutrition, allowing a significant gross of the agency’s profit margin.

 

From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Marcilhacy was Marketing Director at World Vision Canada, the largest child sponsorship organization in North America. Working from the Montreal and Toronto offices, he successfully managed to attract and cultivate some 200,000 donors, produced TV Infomercials and put together strategic partnerships with major Canadian companies like Provigo and Provisoir.

 

Mr Marcilhacy has a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley and a law degree from the Université de Paris.
