ANNE VOBORIL CONNER

Anne Voboril Conner, has worked as senior research analyst
/ senior consultant for Brakeley Ltd since 2001 providing
primary and secondary research for international projects
with a global fundraising component.
Clients have included the Global Leadership Foundation,
International Atlantic Salmon Research Board and Hull
University among others.
Previous experience has included work as an independent
research consultant providing primary and secondary research
and corporate analysis for clients including the London
Business School and Lotus Development Corporation.
Anne also worked as a Research Assistant for Professor
Dorothy Leonard Director of Research at the Harvard Business
School providing research for the book
WHEN SPARKS FLY:IGNITING GROUP CREATIVITY
and as an equity investment analyst at the Boston
Investment firm of State Street Research and management
where Anne followed domestic and foreign equities and
managed an equity portfolio.
Based
in Boston Massachusetts, her work has involved developing
a web based research product designed to serve international
clients with multinational projects. The research is designed
to match the most appropriate foundation, corporate and
high net worth individual donors to a project. The research
can be multinational in scope or can be designed to serve
international clients trying to focus on US foundation
and corporate funding sources. Anne regularly arranges
meetings in the United States with potential funding sources.
Anne also accompanies the client to these meetings to
assist in the presentation of their case in addition to
working with the US advisory groups of the client foundations.
Additionally she provides research for Brakeley consultants
working globally.
Anne Conner's recent clients have
included:
Global Leadership Foundation, a UK based international foundation
composed of 23 former heads of state who advise countries
in crisis on a discreet basis. Developed
US Corporate, Foundation and High Net worth individual
prospect lists arranged and attended meetings to present
case, meeting follow up, funding request and relationship
management, worked with other Brakeley consultants to
identify and develop funding sources globally.
North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organisation, the International Atlantic Salmon
Research Board and the SALSEA project and related NGOs
a UK based multinational scientific research initiative
focused on the preservation of the North Atlantic salmon.
Work
for these clients has included prospect research and analysis
as well as the organisation of and attendance at client
visits to potential US funding sources, meeting follow
up and ongoing relationship management as well as work
with other Brakeley consultants in an effort to identify
and develop funding sources globally. General research
for consultant use has included work on a wide range of
international environmental, medical and cultural initiatives
focusing on both international and US fundraising goals.
