CÂLINE YAMAKAWA
Consultant, France, Belgium, Switzerland
A native of Japan
and Belgium, Câline Yamakawa
joined Brakeley in 2007 as a consultant based in Paris, France.
She is currently working on a project for l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie in
Paris (Paris VI) and has also worked for the University
of Ghent (Belgium) and WWF (France).
Prior to moving to Europe, she lived
several years in the UK and
the US.
She worked as a publicist and special projects manager in New York for Hemsing
Associates, a communications firm specialized in the arts.
Câline is also currently founding
manager of Férudar, an international arts projects management outfit
specialized in classical music. Her work varies from production to media
consultancy and past clients have included the Yehudi Menuhin International
Competition for Young Violinists (London, UK), the Orchestre National de Lille (Lille, France),
and the Verbier Festival (Verbier,
Switzerland).
A graduate of Tufts
University and the New England
Conservatory of Music, both in Boston, Câline
has also completed coursework in Arts Administration at New
York’s Columbia
University. She is
a regular volunteer for NGOs such as Habitat for Humanity and Christian
Children’s Fund.
