Fusien Verloop is a partner in Leenaers Verloop, communicatie & sponsoring, a consultancy for
arts and charity fundraising. After working in sponsoring and communications
for many years at NS (Netherlands
Railways), Fusien started her own consultancy together with Marischka Leenaers. Clients of Leenaers Verloop include cultural institutions such as De
Westergasfabriek, Kroller Muller Museum and
Stichting DOEN. Fusien frequently gives workshops and lectures on sponsoring,
major gift fundraising and the benefits of cooperation between business and the
arts.
In 2003
Leenaers Verloop became an Associate Consultancy of Brakeley and since then
Fusien Verloop has worked with Brakeley on projects to introduce major gift
fundraising to the Netherlands. Clients have included the Reisoper, WWF and Nationaal
Museum van Speelklok tot Pierement.
Fusien
studied European Studies at the University of Amsterdam. As well as speaking Dutch, she is fluent in
English, German and French and has some knowledge of Italian. She is currently Chair of the Board of the Speelklok Museum.
