Johan
Wennström is Managing Director and Senior Consultant for Mira Strategy AB.
Johan Wennström founded Mira Network in 1998 together with Magnus Bratt. Mira Network is the market leader in IT solutions for external relations in higher education (fundraising, alumni programs, career services, commissioned education, etc) in the Nordic region with more than 30 universities as current clients. Mira Network is still owned by Magnus Bratt and Johan Wennström.
Johan Wennström has been working together with Brakeley Ltd since 2005 when Brakeley and Mira Network formed a partnership. In the last year he has also worked as a Senior Associate Consultant in Brakeley’s client projects.
Johan Wennström has worked with more than twenty universities in Sweden, Finland and Norway related to external relations. Among them are Aalesund University College (Norway), Blekinge Institute of Technology (Sweden), Hanken School of Economics (Finland), Hanken & SSE (Finland), Högskolan Dalarna (Sweden), IFL at the Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), Jönköping University (Sweden), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), KTH (Sweden), Linköping University (Sweden), Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) (Norway), Stockholm Institute of Education (Sweden), Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), Stockholm University (Sweden), Stockholm University College of Physical Education and Sports (Sweden), Södertörn University College (Sweden), TKK (Finland), University of Helsinki (Finland), University of Oslo (Norway), University of Oulu (Finland).
Johan Wennström has often been invited as a speaker to Nordic conferences regarding alumni programs and external relations, for instance: Norwegian Alumni Conference in Bergen 2004, Nordic Alumni and Development Network (NARN) in Oslo 2006 and Helsingfors 2007, and the Finnish Alumni Conference in Lappeenranta 2010.
Born and raised in Stockholm (Sweden), Johan Wennström has an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and ESADE in Barcelona. He now lives in Espoo (Helsinki) in Finland with his wife and two young children.
