Mandy has recently joined Brakeley’s as a consultant after five years in the not-for-profit sector. She is a proven, successful fundraiser working across all disciplines of fundraising, including major gifts, trusts and corporates, and has implemented long-term, robust fundraising strategies in the major national charities that she has worked.

As a fundraising professional with excellent relationship building skills, Mandy consistently exceeded fundraising targets by maximising support from existing donors and recruiting new supporters. She has worked for The Science Museum, Asthma UK and most recently The Motor Neurone Disease Association. As a senior manager at the MND Association, Mandy worked directly with the Chief Executive and the Director of Fundraising to form the team that implemented their Major Donor strategy.

Before her career in fundraising, Mandy was a sales and marketing professional for many years. Much of this time was spent in an industry supplying equipment and consumables to the pharmaceutical and academic research markets.

Mandy graduated from Sussex University with an honours degree in Chemical Physics and is an active fundraiser and volunteer in her own time.
