Neville
Abraham graduated from LSE in 1961 and has enjoyed a highly varied career
which included nine years as a senior civil servant in the Board of Trade
followed by management consulting assignments both in the UK and abroad. In
1974 he wrote "Big Business and Government: The New Disorder",
published by Macmillan.
Over the last 30 years he became a serial wine and restaurant entrepreneur and
founded or developed many small to medium sized businesses, taking one of them
(Group Chez Gerard plc) public in 1994. Later he was awarded the CBE for
services to the hospitality industry.
Currently he is a non-executive of a number of small businesses and trustee of
two educational and music charities.
