OLOF HUGANDER
Consultant,
Nordic Region
Olof joined Brakeley as a consultant in 2008,
having previously worked for several years as a management consultant in the
fields of organisational development, strategy and competitive
intelligence. Olof will primarily provide consultancy services to clients
in the Nordic countries and will be based in Stockholm.
Prior to joining Brakeley, Olof was responsible for
the strategic consulting offer at Wide narrow Intelligence – a competitive
intelligence consulting firm in Stockholm.
Before this, he worked as a management consultant at Solving Bohlin &
Strömberg, also in Stockholm.
As a consultant, Olof has worked with numerous clients ranging from large multinational
companies to government agencies, organisations and political parties.
Olof holds a M.Sc. in Business and Economics
and a University Diploma in Business Law from Lund
University in Sweden where he also worked as a
research assistant at the Institute
of Economic Research and
as an academic consultant at the Council for Local Government Research and
Education. He also holds a Certificate in Change Leadership from Cornell University.
In addition to his background in consulting and
academia, Olof has worked with an EU campaign at the Confederation of
Swedish Enterprise and as an intern at the Swedish Government Offices.
He was brought up in Lund
and Huskvarna, has lived and studied in the United
States for two years and has spent a semester studying
Spanish in Spain.
Olof is very interested in international development
issues - he serves as vice chairman for Swedish Refugee Aid and has
received training in humanitarian action from the Swedish International
Development Agency and the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research
at Harvard University.
Olof lives in Stockholm
with his wife and daughter.
