Vincent is a professional philanthropic fundraiser. He
is the President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Hong Kong Chapter. He has over 20 years of working experience in both business and non-profit
organizations. His fundraising and volunteer management
experience includes a
range of charitable organizations, including World Society of the Protection of Animals (WSPA), Lions
Clubs, Imperial College Alumni Association Endowment Fund, Child Psychoecology Foundation and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals (SPCA).
He has worked in UK, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Vincent received a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Imperial College,
London, a Diploma (Child Psychology) from Open
University, Hong Kong and a Master of Social Science (Psychology
of Education) from City University,Hong
Kong. He is now a
candidate of Doctorate of Education (Lifelong
Learning) at Nottingham University,UK.
Vincent is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), USA and a Certified Member of the Institute of Fundraising,
UK (MInstF(Cert)). He is the first and only person in Hong
Kong to have both professional certifications. He holds memberships
at Council for
Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), AFP and Institute of Fundraising.
Vincent is a public speaker at Lions Clubs and Rotary Clubs.
He has given guest lectures on professional fundraising at The University of
Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Council of Social Service Institute and the Hong Kong Chartered Institute of
Marketing. He was
interviewed by Best Practice Management Magazine on fundraising best practices. He is also Programme Advisor of Middlesex
University, UK on MA in Work Based Learning Studies, graduate of AFP Faculty Training Academy as well as a certified professional business psychology coach.
