Bill Conner spent twenty three years working in institutions of higher education and large cultural institutions in various capacities of management, marketing, fundraising and institutional advancement. In 1999 he began his career as a consultant with Grenzebach Glier Europe and shifted to Brakeley in 2001. He is also very active in the field as a speaker, writer on fundraising issues and board member of various organisations. He maintains clients in the USA as well as in Europe and Asia. Prior to his career in consulting he was Associate Dean for Advancement at the London Business School and Director of Development at the San Francisco Opera.
